My first Christmas!

As soon as November turned into December there were lights, sparkles and tinsel everywhere! My first Christmas seemed to last the whole month as there was so many parties and celebrations to attend. Mummy said that she had been SO excited about our first festive season together and that her and Daddy have never had so much to be thankful for.

Right at the top of my "to be thankful for" list is my Uncle Ed. He moved with my Auntie Ali and my cousins Archie and Toby to just 10 minutes down the road from our house! As you can imagine we are all VERY excited, particularly as it means I get to have even more frequent cuddles and story time. He has had lots of practice reading to my cousins so he is a particularly good story teller and Mummy says he has more books than anyone she knows! WOW!!

This is me and my friend Sebastian but who invited the bear?!

Seriously Seb, I didn't know I was supposed to bring a guest?!

No, seriously, you should have said! Besides, I don't like the way he is looking at me!

Mummy got REALLY into the festive spirit and dressed me up in all sorts of green and red outfits. Here I am Santa's little helper and I have just seen Santa's huge pile of presents! This Christmas business is COOL!

I was so excited because Daddy got to come along to my "Baby Sensory" Christmas party. There were lots of sparkly diso balls, flashing light sticks, ringing bells, glow in the dark orbs - almost all the things to make mummy and daddy feel like they are clubbing again!

We went to see Santa at his grotto at Westfield mall, it was REALLY REALLY exciting, mummy said she had looked forward to me meeting Santa since before I was born! Somewhere there is a picture of me actually on Santa's knee but it will need to be uploaded at another time. Mummy is very cross that she cannot find it.

After all the parties and celebrations in London we got on a plane and flew all the way to AMERICA!! It was my first time on a plane and even though I didn't get a bassinet to sleep in I was SO well behaved and apparently won lots of hearts. It was the most special trip ever as we got to spend my first Christmas with my Granny and Grandpa as well as my Uncle Rob and Great Uncle Ian and Aunt Polly! WOW!

When I woke up on Christmas morning there was a HUGE stocking at the end of my cot! Mummy and Daddy explained to me that because I am such a good boy Father Christmas delivered lots of presents packaged in this stocking made by Mrs Clause and that all the presents are for me! I hope this happens every year!

This is me and my Uncle Rob who I met for the first time! It was so special to see him, I know we will have so much fun together, especially as he is really into kids toys like this light saver!

I also got to meet my great Uncle Ian and Great Aunt Polly, boy where they fun!

Santa, will you accept the charges?

 There were presents EVERYWHERE!
Lots of laughter.............

And an endless supply of tickles!

After Christmas it was just so lovely to have even more family time and play with my toys.

But the best bit was all the time I got to spend with Daddy!

We went for some really nice walks

Could this be Mr and Mrs Clause?

Oops, it is Granny and Grandpa!

And I got a guided tour of Grandpa's AMAZING studio "Store Gallery" (you really must check him out! http://www.edwardmackenzie.com/assorted.htm )

The whole visit really was quite magical................
