Hola we're off to Spain!

Soon after my birthday we had an amazing week in the gorgeous Costa Brava. We went with Granny Wendy, Auntie Amelia and Uncle Andy. It was SO MUCH FUN! Ever since the holiday when my picture is taken, the "smile" word is "Sangria" or "Sangira" as I like to say! I have a feeling that this will become a family tradition :-)

We stayed in a fabulous Villa near the town of Begur. Check out our pad!

I was not sure what to make of the sun loungers!

but I figured out the kitchen straight away!

This was our local beach

Access was via a "few" steps

So needless to say we were always ready to be rewarded with a cold bevvie and a snack upon arrival

Baby is now around 5 months and is getting much bigger, I can really notice a difference in mummies tummy!

The beach gave us lots of chances to practice my ball skills
Uncle Andy gave me lots of lessons!

 Sangira!
and kisses

 and suave
and giggles with Dadddy
I am fairly sure make up the recipe for the perfect holiday :-)

The beaches were absolutely incredible

with water that was perfectly clear (although not very warm)

Wherever we went Daddy always made sure I had the best view

and be close enough so I could whisper him secrets

Although sometimes I lead the way

Auntie Amelia made sure I was always safely strapped in to my fluoro car seat

And Granny Wendy kept me company in the back

There was ample opportunity for fashion swaps

And also for icecream!

Everywhere we went there was just so much to see, do, and share

We went to visit the center of Begur which was just gorgeous
This is the view of the Castle from a distance...

And this is the view from the top!

Daddy has some skills I was not previously aware of

A few years for me yet!

We went on a day trip and stumbled across the most beautiful town of "Pals" - it really was breathtaking

Our lunch spot may just have been the most scenic in the whole of Spain...

There was plenty of time for exploring

Daddy can only handle so much hat shopping

but he always has energy for giggle time!

More icecream!

We visited local markets to try out the local produce
Olives anyone?

And children's entertainment

But most of all we just hung out by the beach

Grandad and Judy got me these togs - they were absolutely perfect as I clearly look fabulous but they also kept me safe from the sun
And gave Daddy a good grip for balancing me in the air!

This swing was on the coastal path, so much fun!

How about that for a front lawn?!

Who is that person sunbathing?

Someone enjoying the local nudist beach!

Which happened to be one of the nicest spots we found

I was the only one game enough to get my pants off

Although Daddy did jump off this cliff face!

On the way home Amelia showed her bravery too. Can you see my green croc in the water?

Well numerous attempts were made to recover it, including help from this lovely fisherman with his rod
all of which were to no avail

So Auntie Amelia scaled the rock face to get it! They will forever be the most treasured pair of shoes!
