Terrible two's? FABULOUS two's if the start is anything to go by!

Wowee this past year has FLOWN by! It feels like yesterday that I was dressed as a cowboy to celebrate my first birthday, now I am a whole year older!

Mummy and Daddy wanted to make the day last as long as possible so we started my special day with EXTRA + EXTRA family snuggles in bed. Check out my combo of hand gestures!

Mummy and Daddy then made me pancakes!!!

I was VERY excited to have Granny Wendy there to celebrate with me!

I was a little bit lucky to have two birthday celebrations. The first one was on my actual birthday. We met up with the Mackenzies in the park for picnic Pizza!

Now that I am two I get to have BIG slices of pizza!

While contemplating the world

And practicing my stick and ball skills

As well as playing chase (and cuddles) with my cousins and Uncle Ed

I was a bit sneaky and found some of my birthday present a little bit early............
I was delighted; who needs a scooter when you have a scooter handle?

I'm telling you guys, scooter handles are all the rave!

After pizza and a run around we got to eat cake!!

This was PROPER cake, with sugar and icing and everything (last years cake was healthy) so I took the task of eating it properly rather seriously

You start with the cherry on top .....
and then you just DIVE on in their!

I've got this cake thing down!

Oooooh no, maybe not

just give me a sec, I need to pause.........

............ and clean my face before resuming. I knew that sleeves had another purpose!

I got some cake eating coaching from Granny Wendy and Toby

And some extra moral support from Auntie Ali

AHHHH sugar rush!!!

Mummy cuddles should work it out of me

After I had burned off some energy it was time for some pressies!

The Mackenzies got me this AWESOME car with a tool kit to change the pieces around

Hmmm, the sound of this drill is perhaps too appealing

I honestly thought that the scooter handle was my pressie from mummy and daddy but guess what, that was just a spare handle, the got me a WHOLE SCOOTER!!!

Oh my goodness I have never been so excited and surpised! AAAAHHHHHH!!!!!

The birthday ribbon caused a bit of confusion

But Daddy helped me get on board

And pretty soon I had the hang of it!

You coming?

I got adventurous pretty quickly....

And was having so much fun that Mummy and Daddy insisted that I wear my helmet before graduating to the next level................

....... Of hooning around with Daddy!

Woah slow down Daddy!

Ah yes, that is more like it!

I was lucky enough to have a SECOND second birthday celebration and in preparation Mummy and Daddy were up until the early hours making sure that my cake would be fit for the occasion.

Mummy started off mixing the icing into weird and wonderful colours

But soon into the piping stage she realized she needed some help from somebody with a steady hand....
Clever Daddy!

Here is a sneak preview of my Dinosaur cake but like me you'll have to wait in suspense until my party to see the finished product.

Here are some piccies from my party! I was so lucky to have Uncle Andy, Aunt Lesley, Granny Wendy, The Mackenzie's AND my God parents Nick and T!

Coincidentally a dinosaur theme emerged with LOTS of dino pressies including this amazing soft toy from Andy

I got SO many pressies!

Auntie Lesley spoilt me with lots of treats including some amazing books!

I had a very special present from Nick and T which was a pretend BBQ set!

So I can be just like my Daddy :-)

I was so happy to have them there, T has a baby in her tummy like Mummy!

After pressie time it was time for CAKE!!! Everyone sang me happy birthday

And Voila! Here is my dinosaur!

At first I wasn't sure whether I was supposed to eat it ..........

But after a few mouthfuls I started to quite like the taste of dinosaur cake!

 See, all gone!

I think everyone else enjoyed it too

Cheers to me!
