Mummy and Daddy have explained that we may be rather busy in the first few weeks so to make the most of the final few weeks and also of the glorious weather we have had, we have had a couple of really fun day trips into the city.
Last Wednesday we had brunch at the NZ restaurant "Provodores and Tapa room" in Marylebone. Mummy had been craving a Kiwi brunch for ages and for her patience she was rewarded with stuffed French toast (and an appetizer of fruit salad and yogurt which she shared with me).
Daddy got to have smoked salmon with Eggs Benedict and the best coffee he had tasted in London. He was rather pleased
Per chance we stumbled across this play ground which was SO much fun. It had lots of new things like binoculars to keep an eye out for invading play mates
Like Daddy!
There were some really old school phones - I think they must have been very early versions as they didn't even have a dial tone!
Mummy and I got to feed some pigeons
But I couldn't last the whole day so had a snooze while mummy and Daddy visited Piccadilly circus
On Saturday we ventured into the city again (mummy was very brave as she was almost 39 weeks pregnant) and we visited the Tower of London
There is an elephant coming out of the wall Daddy!
Daddy thought he should begin to get ready for mummy's labour
Mummy needed to sit down a lot!
In the past few weeks we have been lucky to have some lovely visitors
Great Aunt Hazel (all the way from NZ!) came by for dinner and we had some great story time together
Mummy had a VERY special day with T and Jane who brought brunch, cake and pampering delights as belated birthday celebration. Mummy had SUCH a wonderful time and said that it was the most relaxed she had felt in absolutely ages and afterwards felt ALMOST ready for babies arrival :-)
This is T and baby Eva! I love her SO much, everyt ime Mummy shows me something for the baby I think it is for Baby Eva!
Mummies new party trick is balancing a bevvie on baby bump
And Eva fits perfectly on there too!
Her and the baby are already having deep and meaningfuls
Happy mummy :-)
There have been a lot of changes recently
I have started a new nursery which I LOVE but sometimes I get sad to say goodbye in the morning
But am always very happy to get home and play with my musical instruments!
And even happier when Daddy gets home from work and throws me in the air. He is so strong!
The biggest change though is the size of mummy's tummy!
I think it is hilarious to tickle her belly button
Wowee, it can't be long now!
I like pretending to have a tummy like mummy.
